Winter Dallas Market to Spotlight Housewares

Dallas Market Center is prepping for a winter Total Home & Gift Market, January 5-11, 2022, with more than 50 new and expanding permanent showrooms, additions to its temporary exhibit and new special events.

New buyer applications are up more than 50% over previous years, with the strongest gains coming from buyers located in the Midwest and Southeast, according to DMC officials. January will also mark a return to Dallas Market by international buyers from Canada, Mexico, and across Latin America, DMC reported. New buyers will be welcomed to market with special tours, a welcome desk, and a buyers’ lounge.

“We’re offering buyers the first chance to discover what’s trending, review new products, and place orders,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center (DMC). “It’s more important than ever for retailers to experience a market in person in order to source across categories and discover products that will set them apart.”

GC Buying Group Conference

GC Buying Group will hold its Start The Year Member Conference at Dallas Market Center. The annual kitchenware event draws retailers from across the country to review new products with vendor company principals, network among peers, and experience presentations from business and industry experts. The GC Vendor Showcase will showcase a broad range of products for the home — from gadgets to cookware to kitchen electrics.
