The International Housewares Shippers Association (IHSA) and Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. will present a webinar May 16 for International Housewares Association (IHA) members on the health of the shipping industry as it affects imports and exports of containers on vessels at U.S. ports.
The Zoom webinar, set for noon to 1 p.m. CDT on May 16, is hosted by IHA as a part of its CORE executive networking program.
All IHA members are invited to join this IHSA/CORE national meeting, during which IHSA’s Craig Akers and Zim’s Don Davis will discuss shipping matters, including developments in the Red Sea, the Panama Canal and the status of shipping through Baltimore after the collapse of the Key Bridge.
A Q&A session will allow attendees to ask about issues impacting shipping, including vessel diversion from the East Coast if the ILA strikes, the readiness of rails for a potential surge in volume and vessel capacity increases.
