The 2021 CHESS conference by the International Housewares Association will spotlight a progress report on supply chain and tariff relief action in Washington D.C.
CHESS, the Chief Housewares Executive SuperSession, is set to return with an in-person event October 5-6 at the Hilton Rosemont Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois.
IHA’s Washington insiders Craig Brightup, CEO, The Brightup Group, and Rafe Morrissey, President, Morrissey Strategic Partners, will provide a frontline update on legislative and White House action— and how IHA can help — to relieve the burden on the home and housewares business caused by skyrocketing shipping costs and related supply-chain disruption; and the continuation of widescale import tariffs. This session is set for 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on October 5.
CHESS is presented as a strategic networking event for industry leaders and top decision-makers at IHA member companies.
The two-day event will feature sessions on critical post-pandemic issues and growth strategies for the home and housewares business, including supply chain and tariff relief actions; the new retail environment and the consumer journey; workplace changes because of the coronavirus; brand marketing; and retail trends.
