Messe Berlin and gfu Consumer & Home Electronics GmbH announced IFA 2021 will not take place in September as a physical live event as originally scheduled.
Public health experts and stakeholders in the German appliance and consumer electronics fair determined global health metrics related to COVID-19 had not improved as quickly as they had anticipated, which, in turn, added to uncertainty among companies committed to or interested in visiting Berlin for IFA.
IFA 2022 is set to takes place in Berlin from September 2-6.
