Visual merchandising expert Anne Kong will explore engaging, fun retail environments for key generations of consumers in a forthcoming webinar presented by the International Housewares Association.
This year’s Global Innovations Awards (gia) Top Window Global Honorees also will be revealed during the webinar: “Shoppers Just Want to Have Fun: Visual Trends Captivating Millennial and Gen Z Consumers.” The free webinar is set for October 22 from 9 to 10 a.m. CDT.
Kong (pictured above) is an educator and designer specializing in visual merchandising, exhibition design and brand activation. With more than 20 years of experience, she develops design concepts and solutions for retail, showrooms, trade shows and promotional events. She is a partner of her own design company, A+D Kong, in partnership with her husband, David Kong.
During the webinar, Kong will share dive into the latest trends that captivate Millennials and GenZers, from bold colors and playful designs to interactive displays and sustainability-focused visuals. She will provide insights on how to create retail spaces that are not only Instagram-worthy but also align with the values of these generations.
Kong, a juror of the IHA’s gia program, will conclude the webinar by announcing the gia Top Window Global Honorees of 2024. The gia Top Window Awards honor exceptional creativity and ingenuity of window displays in the home and housewares industry worldwide.
