Gift for Life, a charitable organization encompassing the gift and home industries, appointed seven new members to its board of directors.
The new Gift For Life board members are Taylor Brunson, national sales manager of Softies; Lindsay Duncan, owner and president of Patrick and Company; Carolyn Geremia, senior sales director of Beekman 1802; Colleen Hall, vice president, marketing of C&F Enterprises; Carlos Llanso, CEO of Legacy Publishing; Brittany Rigg, director, leasing of Dallas Market Center; and Michelle Sherrier, owner of MC Design Collaboration.
Gift for Life also announced Cole Daugherty of Dallas Market Center stepped down after 18 years as a board member. Daugherty served as chair of the charity group from 2021 to 2023.
Gift for Life was founded by gift industry veteran Peter Schauben in 1992 to raise funds for AIDS research, education and treatment. In 2021, Gift for Life pivoted toward supporting World Central Kitchen, founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés, to provide fresh meals in response to crises while working to build resilient food systems with locally-led solutions.
