More than 80 vendors and more than 160 buyers are slated to participate in the 20th annual GC Buying Group start-the-year conference, now known as GCX, January 11-12 during the Atlanta Market.
The program includes which includes industry networking, education and vendor expo, according to GC Buying Group. Veteran industry editor Warren Shoulberg will provide a “Back to the Future 2023” keynote address geared toward doing business amid economic changes in the new year.
GCX will include a networking reception on the evening of January 11 at Atlanta’s Capital City Club, across the street from Building 2 of AmericasMart.
The program on Thursday, January 12, will conclude with the Les Dames d’Escoffier International Culinary Futures Scholarship Fundraiser, co-sponsored by GC, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the 8th-floor buyers’ lounge in Building 2 of AmericasMart. The event is free to attend, and donations will be accepted, according to GC.
GC vendors are scheduled to meet Friday morning, January 13, with the GC team, GC advisory board members and leaders of IMC for a discussion of business and market opportunities for vendors and independent retailers. Following the vendor forum, GC store members are invited to a light lunch in the newly formed showroom merger of Kitchen2Table and Ben Tally & Associates.
