GC Buying Group will hold its summer education program, including an introduction to new GC vendors, during the Atlanta Market in July.
The two-day GC event begins Wednesday, July 12, with demos at the GC booth on the 8th floor of Building 2 of AmericasMart, followed by the GC “Party in the Kitchen,” from 5 to 7 p.m., for GC store and vendor members, as well as reps.
The GC education program on Thursday, July 13, features training presentations by vendor members and networking group discussions among store buyers. A showcase highlighting vendors new to GC membership will also include new product introductions from current vendors. The Thursday program also spotlights a lunchtime keynote address focused on generating store growth through the benefit of vendor product promotions. Templates and guides for successful promotional events will be unveiled during the presentation.
