Exacture, a new mobile software solution designed to help manufacturers improve product quality at reduced costs, is being launched at The Inspired Home Show.
Exacture COO Anthony Medico said the proprietary software automates the quality assurance process, providing standardization, accuracy and efficiency across all areas of a business at up to 70% cost reduction compared to more conventional methods.
Developed the past seven years in development, Exacture has helped conduct 300,000 inspections across the globe encompassing $3 billion dollars of product.
Medico said Exacture is designed to resolve inefficiencies, inaccuracies and other potential shortcomings, such as mislabeling, across the supply chain associated with paper and digital spreadsheet quality assurance systems, unsystematic regulations and mislabeling.
“Exacture improves the process and overcomes these obstacles by digitizing inspection plans and directing inspectors through an easy, step-by-step process,” Medico said. “Once an inspection is completed and submitted, a report is automatically generated and disseminated to all appropriate parties. By automating the process, Exacture provides real-time data with greater accuracy and a more precise level of detail. This ensures nothing is missed and results in an organized and detailed inspection that ensures a higher quality standard. Exacture also automates the process of building inspection plans, which allows larger organizations to fully onboard their product in a quick and efficient manner.”
Exacture provides manufacturers with total traceability in every aspect of quality assurance, scheduled maintenance and social compliance, regardless of the location of factories, product lots and distribution points, according to the company. Exacture also records photos, documents and defects evidence during inspections and saves these records for future reference. Companies can generate up-to-the-minute reports, allowing high-level analytics and immediate identification of potential issues and corrective action plans.
With Exacture, inspection plans are automated based on a proprietary tagging system, allowing for easy adoption by companies regardless of how many products they have, according to the company. The platform can use any Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) standards, and AQL levels can be applied to inspection plans or on the questions themselves.
“We understand the obstacles companies experience with quality control and we can help improve quality and the bottom line. With the digital transformation organizations are currently going through, now is the perfect time for companies to embrace a new approach to quality assurance,” Medico said.
Exacture is designed to be responsive and compatible with iOS and Android devices. This globally supported, patented software is compatible with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Oracle, NetSuite and SAP.
The Exacture team will demonstrate the software at the Inspired Home Show March 5-7.
