JK Adams, a manufacturer of professional-grade wood boards and rolling pins operating out of Dorset, VT, is celebrating its 80th anniversary and returning to The Inspired Home Show with new products in tow.
“The housewares show opened our eyes to the world of design and product innovation,” says second-generation owner Malcolm Cooper, Jr. “As well as exposing JK Adams products to a much larger audience, an unexpected plus of going to Chicago is the chance it gives all attendees a chance to see a huge array of products from around the world, to get a sense of new trends in design and marketing, and promotion. Chicago truly opened our eyes.”
Walnut Wooden Serving Board with Oval Handle
Among the new products the company will feature at the show is the Walnut Wooden Serving Board with Oval Handle, which comes in 20″ x 6″ and 11″ x 6″ sizes. A new finish in an established design, the serving boards have a curving handle atop and a dark, rich walnut look throughout, one that can be a striking complement to kitchen decor. The long, thin shape of the 20″ x 6″ board is ideal for serving appetizers, crostini and bread, while the 11″ x 6″ board is suited to serving two to six people, JK Adams noted.
The suggested retail price is $69 for the 20″ x 6″ and $49 for the 11″ x 6″.

Then, the Professional Collection of End Grain Cutting Boards will debut in a round form. The cutting boards come in two diameters, 12″ and 16″, and three colors: maple, cherry, and walnut. End grain boards keep a knife’s edge sharp, the company stated, adding that both size boards sport routed side handles.
SRP range is from $159 to $329.
To celebrate the company’s 80th year anniversary, JK Adams will host a cocktail party on March 17 at its booth, S1703, at 5:30 p.m.
