The Inspired Home Show will be the stage where Cangshan throws a spotlight on its newest product: the Helena Series Prep Utility Knife.
Helena’s 5-inch Prep Utility Knife can take on big and small kitchen tasks from slicing up fruit for cocktail garnishes to cutting sandwiches while also ably peeling, slicing and trimming fruits and vegetables, slicing up bagels or crusty bread without squashing, and removing fat from meat. Its slicing, dicing and fileting capabilities all argue for adding the 5-inch Prep Utility Knife to a cutlery collection, Cangshan asserts.
Although not a supplement for a chef’s knife, a utility knife is a fine complement, allowing home cooks to break down meats and veggies with even more precision after chef’s knife use, said the company. So, creating a charcuterie board or breaking down gamier proteins becomes an easier task.
Helena Series construction is high-alloy German steel that is meticulously heat treated, ensuring a razor-sharp blade with exceptional durability and edge retention, Cangshan maintained. Stain-resistant with an ergonomic handle, a slim semi-bolster balances the knife’s full tang while complementing the sleek lines of the handle. Cangshan pointed out that it was named one of Oprah’s Favorite Things in 2023.
Suggested retail price is $39.95.
