Home and housewares trend advisor Tom Mirabile, founder of Springboard Futures, will reveal the results of exclusive consumer research on home and living preferences and their influence on housewares demand in his “Top Trends 2025” keynote during The Inspired Home Show 2025.
Mirabile’s presentation — “The 2025 Home & Living Survey: New Insights on the Everyday Realities Driving Consumer Demand — is set for Monday, March 3, 10-11 a.m. in McCormick South S102. The 2025 Home & Living Survey is a collaboration between Springboard Futures and the International Housewares Association.
“In the modern marketplace, success depends on a clear and nuanced understanding of your target consumer, especially their aspirations, frustrations and the daily demands on their time and energy,” said Mirabile, a frequent keynoter at The Inspired Home Show. “This survey probes consumers’ everyday realities, priorities and pain points, exploring how these factors impact product choices and purchase decisions. It also reveals where the lifestyles of key generations converge, where they divide, and why it matters. Attendees will leave with meaningful and actionable insights to help you create informed product and service offerings that attract ideal customers.”
As principal and founder of Springboard Futures, Mirabile offers a wide range of trend advisory services with a focus on the home products industry. He provides consumer trend analysis for the International Housewares Association and HomePage News. In that role, Mirabile curates and authors the HomePage News InSight Trend Index, an exclusive digital guide that explores emerging and enduring home and housewares trends through the products and innovations that embody them. He also collaborates with the International Housewares Association and HomePage News on exclusive consumer research and insights examining lifestyle trends, home product trends and purchasing values.
Mirabile previously worked as a trend forecaster, product developer and merchandiser for Lifetime Brands, Neiman Marcus Group, Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s.
