Keynote Spotlight: Circana’s Derochowski To Discuss What Housewares Can Learn from Other Industries

Joe Derochowski, vice president home industry advisor for market analytics company Circana, will discuss how the home and housewares business can learn from other key consumer product industries to drive growth in his keynote address during The Inspired Home Show in Chicago.

Derochowski’s keynote — “Thinking Outside the Box: Growth Opportunities for the Housewares Industry” — is set for Sunday, March 2, 1-2 p.m. at McCormick South S102.

“Circana is forecasting the home and housewares Industry to grow over the next 3 years, and poised to grow for the rest of the decade,” Derochowski said. “But, to take advantage of this potential, we in the home and housewares industry need to innovate, and transform the way we think about innovation.”

Derochowski, home industry advisor for Circana, will be joined remotely by  Circana industry experts across retail in a conversation that starts with understanding what is happening in industries including food, tech, beauty, toys, apparel, entertainment, and sports. The presentation will discuss where growth and opportunities exist in each of these industries, and how that growth could translate to new ideas for the home and housewares industry to inspire demand that will foster our growth potential in the years to come, Derochowski said.
