Williams Sonoma stores are offering shoppers a new recipe connection and a new shipping membership with added benefits.
The Williams Sonoma Recipes app, which comes with a $39.99 price tag, provides access to thousands of the brand’s popular recipes and instructional videos developed and tested in its test kitchen, William-Sonoma indicated. Subscribers to the Williams Sonoma Recipes app can access exclusive content, how-to videos and tools that assist with building grocery lists, creating virtual recipe boxes, organizing recipes and assisting with menu development.
Also, the app functionality allows users to browse recipes curated around a specific cuisine, season, ingredient, holiday, or kitchen appliance, Williams Sonoma noted. The Cooking Classes section offers recipe guides and videos that teach users cooking techniques plus tips for working with various ingredients.
Consumers who sign up for the Williams Sonoma Reserve membership which costs $99 annually, get free shipping on standard items for a year and the subscription to the Williams Sonoma Recipes app as well as access to four of the brand’s popular virtual cooking classes, itself rated as an $80 value, Williams-Sonoma maintained. The reserve membership and recipe app are open for purchase now via the brand’s website.
“Williams Sonoma Reserve and the Williams Sonoma Recipes app provide our customers new ways to engage with our brand and our coveted recipe content,” said Williams Sonoma president Ryan Ross in introducing the initiatives. “We’re excited to extend membership benefits like free shipping to our customers as well as virtual classes as we kick off the holiday shopping and entertaining season.”
