The Williams-Sonoma West Elm banner is collaborating with chef Marcus Samuelsson on his first home furnishings collection, to be available exclusively at WestElm.com and at select West Elm retail locations.
The 32-piece capsule collection celebrates Samuelsson’s love of food and entertaining as a means of gathering and inspiring people, the company stated. The product assortment includes furniture, lighting, tableware, textiles and art. In design, the collection reflects Samuelsson’s Ethiopian heritage, Swedish upbringing and New York City home base.
Key items include the Carved Tableware Set, with prices ranging from $32-$40, the Upholstered Dining Chairs and Bar Stools, priced at $299 and $399, the Layered Brass Pendant, priced at $399, and the Rectangular Dining Table, priced at $1,299.
“Marcus embodies style as a way of living,” says Day Kornbluth, West Elm president.“He brings taste and a point of view to everything he touches and brings people together along the way. It was a pleasure working with him on this collection, which we love.”
Samuelsson, in a separate partnership, is brand ambassador for All-Clad cookware.
