Wayfair is launching Muse, a next-generation shopping tool that the company characterizes as an innovation in personalized home shopping.
Muse provides consumers an easy way to find inspiration and ideas for their homes, Wayfair stated. Muse builds on Wayfair’s Decorify pilot application, which allows customers to select from a few preset styles to see how their space could be transformed. Muse takes Wayfair’s personalized shopping capabilities to a new level, the company asserted, providing a trove of inspiration and ideas to help shoppers put together their aspirational home. Muse is a heavily visual browsing experience that lets users quickly navigate through rich imagery, search for any style that comes to mind and explore or apply styles to build personalized collections, Wayfair maintained.
Muse links the inspiration functions to Wayfair’s extensive catalog, offering shoppable suggestions and complementary items for a cohesive look. Browsing shoppable inspiration for the home on Muse is easy, Wayfair emphasized. Consumers browse AI-supported imagery and shop recommended items or add to a collection they can revisit later. Shoppers can explore Muse in ways that help them assemble and save multiple looks. Then, they can upload photos of their spaces to apply the styles to any room.
