Although it hasn’t detailed the product discounts the company plans to offer yet, Walmart has revealed some of the propositions it has for consumers for its upcoming membership celebration and membership drive.
Walmart+ Week runs from April 28 through May 4. The company describes the event as a celebration of existing and new members of its loyalty program, with particular perks being featured as well as food and fuel tie-ins. As such, Walmart is using the week-long promotion to encourage consumers to sign up for the program, with a 30-day free offer part of the package.
The Walmart+ members-only event will offer exclusive rewards and deals that build upon existing benefits, the company stated, including:
- 50¢ off every gallon of fuel at participating Exxon and Mobil stations nationwide.
- Up to two free sandwiches from Burger King daily with a $1 or more purchase.
- One free Express Delivery for everyday essentials and more in as little as one hour.
- $5 Walmart Cash for members who use the company’s mobile scan and go service in-store on one order of $15 or more.
- Engagement bonus of $10 Walmart Cash if members take advantage of two or more Walmart+ Week offers.
Walmart is also offering Plus members a six-month Paramount+ with Showtime plan.
The company maintained that Walmart+ has achieved double-digit growth with consistently increasing delivery volumes and repeat order rates from members, who pay $98 a year to participate in the program. With same-day delivery now reaching 93% of households in the United States, the company stated, more Walmart+ members can take advantage of the benefit than ever before.

Walmart+ Week celebrates this momentum by helping our members maximize their suite of benefits in a way only Walmart can with the membership that pays for itself.”
