Walmart is touting surprise deal drops, a new generative AI shopping assistant and early access for loyalty program members in its 2024 Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions.
Black Friday weekend deals begin online Monday, November 11 at noon eastern time exclusively for paid Walmart+ loyalty program members, at 5 p.m. for all customers and in stores on Friday, November 15 at 6 a.m. local time. Cyber Week deals begin online Monday, November 25 at noon exclusively for paid Walmart+ members, at 5 p.m. for all customers and in stores Friday, November 29 at 6 a.m. local time. Cyber Monday deals start Sunday, December 1 at 5 p.m. exclusively for paid Walmart+ members and 8 p.m. for all customers on walmart.com and the Walmart app.

Walmart also is offering a one-year annual Walmart+ membership at the reduced price of $49. The deal, essentially half off, an offer set to remain in place until December 2.
As it expands the beta test of its gen AI-powered shopping assistant, which helps consumers discover, evaluate and decide on the best products for their unique needs, all shoppers can tap the Walmart suite of previously announced gen AI tools, including gen AI search, the company noted.
