Walmart recently named Creighton Kiper senior vice president of home for Walmart and has appointed company veteran Vinima Shekhar to succeed Kiper as the retailer’s beauty business leader.
Walmart named Shekhar vice president of beauty, according to an internal Walmart memo the company shared with HomePage News.
Vinima started at Walmart in 2018 at Walmart e-commerce, and she has worked in various merchandising roles. Most recently, Minima was vice president of wellness. In that role, she successfully exceeded across all key metrics, including sales, profit and digital targets, Walmart noted. Minima led the largest New Year New You campaign for the total box and has been a champion for digital acceleration, the company added.
Vinima previously built a new business model and long-range strategy for Walmart’s Directed Spend fintech platform.
