In another move to boost its membership program, Walmart is introducing a dedicated promotion for Walmart+ members in line with other retailers’ special selling occasions.
Members will have access to the deepest discounts on thousands of items ranging from a Shark vacuum to a Minnie Mouse playhouse to Samsung Galaxy S7 as well as Pit Boss Pellet Grills.
On the home front, other discounts will include:
- A $49 Keurig K Compact Black coffee maker, 45% off base price
- A $59 Gourmia 8-quart Air Fryer, 40% off base price
- A $199 Anchorage Queen Upholstered Bed, 28% off base price
- A $349 Larissa Sofa, 22% off base price
In a draw to attract more members, consumers who sign up in-store during the weekend event and become paid Walmart+ participants will get a $20 promo code off their next online purchase.
“Our Walmart+ members loved early access to our Black Friday events, so we were inspired to create an entire weekend dedicated to the best deals,” said Chris Cracchiolo, senior and general manager at Walmart, in announcing the event. “Giving members more of what they want with exclusive, unprecedented Black Friday-like savings allows us to celebrate our members in a fun, new way.”
