During the back-to-school season, Walmart is expanding its initiatives in the metaverse with Supercampus.
Established as part of Roblox operations, Supercampus is a back-to-school adventure designed to help players unleash their creativity and test their puzzle-solving skills, Walmart announced. Faced with challenges at every turn, players can choose to collaborate or compete with others as they journey through Supercampus.
Players 13 years of age and above can play the game, the company indicated, which features popular brands and supplies, from vendors including BIC Highlighters, Crayola Crayons and 3M’s Post-it Notes. Walmart designed Supercampus to adhere to Roblox’s latest community standards for all ages. As part of Supercampus, kids can play games, show off their styles and hang out with friends.
In the effort, Walmart continues its drive to create engaging experiences for customers and Walmart Plus members. With the latest Roblox endeavor, Walmart is continuing to explore how to do that in the virtual worlds, the company maintained, where they are spending more of their time.
