Walgreens is introducing a series of promotional campaigns, including the return of its popular myW Days in mid-July, to help its customers save on everyday products. Price reductions at Walgreens follow Walmart, Costco and Target and others that recently provided price breaks for inflation-wracked consumers.
The Walgreens.com landing page kicks off with the message, “Summer of Savings.” That’s followed by the line: “Join myWalgreens for exclusive perks and deals to help you make the most of the season.”
Although major drug retailers lately have been focused on health services, the Walgreens initiative has some emphasis on front-of-store items including general merchandise, such as home goods. Walgreens maintained it is continuing to lower prices on more than 1,300 national and store brand products across health and wellness, personal care and seasonal categories.
