Tractor Supply Co. has begun two programs to advance strategic priorities regarding operations while realigning its social commitments.

Tractor Supply has entered into a multi-year, strategic licensing partnership with Field & Stream intended to deliver a range of hunting and outdoor products to its assortment in stores and online by June, the company stated. An exclusive line of Field & Stream licensed apparel will roll out at Tractor Supply in 2026.

Tractor Supply noted its foundation ranks land and nature conservation as one of the retailer’s four priority areas of charitable giving, adding part of Field & Stream’s purpose is to lead the charge to conserve and fight for wildlife and wild places. The Field & Stream partnership, Tractor Supply pointed out, creates an opportunity to increase awareness and impact in these areas.

Of the licensing deal, Seth Estep,Tractor Supply chief merchandising officer, said, “For generations, Field & Stream and Tractor Supply have been pillars of the outdoor community. Field & Stream has inspired millions to explore and cherish the outdoors, while Tractor Supply has equipped them with the tools and products to make those adventures possible. Our shared communities, values, histories and interests make for a natural and seamless partnership. This June, we launch the first Field & Stream products as part of our annual Deer Event, which kicks off hunting season with special in-store programming and promotions.”

In July of last year, Tractor Supply announced  it would eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion positions in its organization and set aside carbon emission goals to focus on operational performance and what it characterized as rural American priorities.

Then, to support growing operations in the northwestern United States, Tractor Supply announced plans to construct a new distribution center in Nampa, ID. Construction on the 865,000 square-foot DC is set to begin in spring 2025, the company maintained, with completion set for late 2026 or early 2027. The DC eventually will serve more than 200 Tractor Supply stores located throughout the Northwest. Although the company is stepping back from some environmental efforts, Tractor Supply indicated it is building the Nampa DC with the goal of gaining LEED certification.

“Nampa stood out as an ideal site as we evaluated distribution center locations to better serve our customers in the Pacific Northwest region,” said Colin Yankee, Tractor Supply chief supply chain officer. “Nampa has a rich agricultural history and a strong sense of community, characteristics that align with our company’s mission and values.”
