Three major retailers made the large company version of the Fortune Best Workplaces for Women list in 2021, Target, Wegmans and Publix.
Target came in at number 13 on the list, with Wegmans following at 17 and Publix at 59, among the 75 retailers included.
From the listed retailers, Publix’s vp/human resources Marcy Benton responded by saying, “Publix recognizes the value of a diverse organization where all associates are supported and empowered in their roles and the strength women bring to the workplace. Women are a large part of our Publix family, and we are proud that our inclusive culture is reflected in their responses.”
