Ace Hardware enjoyed record online sales over the peak five-day shopping weekend from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday, the company declared.
Ace experienced record single-day online sales on both Black Friday, up 45% versus 2021, and Cyber Monday, up 33% year over year, driven by strong demand for grills and smokers, electric mowers and snow blowers, and power tools from top brands, the company stated. For the five day period, Ace’s digital business generated a 33% advance over 2021.
Ace credited its success to a variety of factors including convenience, brand name merchandise and unique promotions that make it easy for consumers to purchase large-ticket items and have them delivered ready-to-use from one of its local Ace stores.
“Our strong increase in sales over the Cyber 5 weekend is a testament to our organizational focus of being the best in service, quality and convenience for our customers,” said Bill Kiss, Ace head of digital in announcing the weekend results. “Our continuous investments in the digital and omnichannel shopping experience make it easy for customers to shop Ace any way they prefer.”
