It may seem a long way off right now, but Target is beginning to make its big spring splash with home merchandise arrivals in home decor, furniture, and such housewares segments as tabletop, storage, and serving ware.
Target’s spring initiative emerges from its exclusive brands Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, Threshold designed with Studio McGee, and Opalhouse created with Jungalow.
The company stated that the new products are already ready for purchase in stores and online.
Magnolia is especially deep in housewares for spring. The brand’s landing page on target.com pictures two themed housewares presentations, Welcome a New Season, Target’s fresh take on an outdoor spring brunch supported by an online video featuring Magnolia designer Joanna Gaines, and Entertaining Essentials that focuses on goods that can give tables a fresh look at prices as low as $3.99.
The Entertaining Essentials housewares presentation clicks through to a digital display featuring everything from napkins to glass pitchers to stoneware plates and a Target pitch that encourages shoppers to update their tabletops with affordable and accessible indoor or outdoor dining options for spring brunch. It suggests that shoppers enjoy seasonal food presented on wood serving pieces and textured linens. So, displayed items include a Hearth & Hand with Magnolia Wood Trio Serve Caddy at $19.99 and a Beveled Wood Paddler Serve Board at $14.99.
