West Elm has launched a new dinosaur and space-themed collaboration with National Geographic offering items in the storage, decorative accessories, rugs and bedding categories.
The company stated that with every item in the new National Geographic x West Elm Kids collection, the Williams-Sonoma banner wants to encourage exploration of thought and scientific wonder while deepening respect for the planet among its youngest customers. Prices range from $399 for the Topo Landscape Rug, $307 for a full/queen Dinosaur Quilt & Shams and $249 for a T-Rex or Astronaut rug to $49.99 for the Dino Hooks, set of three, $39.99 for a Dinosaur Sham and $19.99 for a Space or Dinosaur Pillow.
West Elm produced many of the new products more sustainably using, for example, lower impact materials such as cotton grown under the Better Cotton Standard, Forest Stewardship Council-certified wood and GRS-certified packaging wherever possible.
Already available in the United States, the National Geographic x West Elm Kids collection rolls out in Canada beginning August 11th at www.westelm.ca/nationalgeographic.
“The West Elm Kids and National Geographic teams worked closely to create an engaging assortment for our youngest customers,” said Day Kornbluth, West Elm president, announcing the collection launch. “Featuring dinosaur and outer space themes, the collection is designed to cultivate curiosity and discovery from kids’ own bedrooms.”
