Gopuff, a retail platform that focuses on immediate delivery of everyday consumer needs, has announced today that it appointed Maria Renz senior vp of North America.
In taking on a newly minted role, she will oversee strategy and execution as the company expands and deepens its presence across markets in the United States, Gopuff stated.
Renz was executive vp of consumer finance and wealth management at online personal finance company SoFi and, before that, held multiple leadership positions at Amazon, Gopuff noted.

Gopuff currently delivers to customers in more than 1,200 cities across four countries, the company maintained, employs more than 15,000 people and serves nearly four million customers globally. Its global operations continue to grow, and the company recently named Bryan Batista senior vp of international to help drive expansion in existing markets outside the U.S. Gopuff operates more than 600 locations across the U.S. and Europe, it pointed out.
“Maria has an incredible track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams, strategically executing on new initiatives and constantly innovating,” said Gopuff co-CEO and co-founder Yakir Gola, in announcing the appointment. “We are excited for Maria to take the reins and help lead our business into its next phase of growth as a truly global leader with a local focus.”
