Dream On Me will open four brick-and-mortar buybuy Baby stores in New Jersey after acquiring the leases on 11 locations as part of the Bed Bath & Beyond bankruptcy, according to published reports.
Northjersey.com reported the locations set open in November are in Paramus, Cherry Hill, Bridgewater and Iselin. The buybuyBaby website is relaunching later this month, according to Northjersey.com. Further details were not reported, and Dream On Me, at press time, had not responded to requests by HomePage News for more information.
On July 11, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey accepted the Dream On Me Industries bid to acquire all the marketing business, baby-related merchandise, baby specialty products, all intellectual property, and other related accessories and services under or in connection with buybuy Baby for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $15.5 million and the assumption of assumed liabilities, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Dream On Me later acquired the 11 leases as part of the bankruptcy proceedings.
The buybuy Baby homepage and social media have been teasing buybuy Baby’s return. On buybuybaby.com, the company asks consumers to join it on a new adventure as it opens online and in stores this fall. The tease on Facebook comes under the heading, “You might be wondering…”
