Qurate banners QVC and HSN are planning to renew their Beauty Bash promotion in a bigger and more interactive way, the company stated, beginning on Saturday, September 18, at noon eastern time.
The three-hour virtual event will feature 35 popular brands and an audience of beauty enthusiasts. Qurate characterized the 2019 Beauty Bash live event in Philadelphia as a success, which prompted the company to revive it as a bigger virtual event this year. In 2021, it will feature custom-designed interactive booths, experts and specialized content in a virtual environment, Qurate pointed out, allowing double the number of attendees to check out the QVC and HSN beauty offering.
On July 28, at 9 a.m. eastern time, Qurate will offer a limited quantity of tickets that come with a special edition Beauty Discovery Box for $59. The Beauty Discovery Box includes 26 beauty products from participating vendors valued at over $500, Qurate noted. The company will provide complimentary event tickets once Beauty Discovery Box tickets sell out. Participants will have access to event content for seven days after the Beauty Bash ends.
Panels will include beauty experts discussing topics and trends such as clean beauty, inclusivity, inspiring founder stories, beauty at any age, beauty disruptors and rising beauty brands, Qurate indicated.
Other Beauty Bash elements include:
- Virtual interactive booths featuring brand experts, new products, demos, and tips and tricks
- Appearances from QVC and HSN program hosts
- A Shop Beauty virtual shopping experience that gives attendees a chance to check out products from participating beauty brands
- A live concierge and live chat function that can help attendees navigate the virtual experience
- Giveaways every 10 minutes with prizes such as Beauty Discovery Boxes and QVC/HSN gift cards
- A virtual scavenger hunt will encourage attendees to visit all participating booths by providing a chance to win prizes including the Beauty Discovery Box and QVC/HSN gift cards
