QVC Group, as part of an organization restructuring plan that will close its HSN campus in Florida and consolidate U.S. operations at QVC’s Pennsylvania base later this year, has made several management changes within its culinary an home merchandising groups, HomePage News has learned.
QVC and HSN suppliers were informed recently of the following merchandising management changes that were effective April 1, 2025:
Kristen Stevens, formerly vice president and GMM for home, culinary and electronics at QVC, was named to the newly created post of vice president of programming for the combined QVC and HSN organization identified by the company as QxH. Rich Yoegel, formerly vice president and GMM of electronics and home innovations for HSN, was named vice president and GMM of QxH home.
Ariana Sweet, formerly DMM director of culinary and food for QVC, has been named DMM, director of QxH footwear/lounge/accessories. Jenee Sampson, formerly DMM of culinary at HSN, has been named DMM, director for QxH culinary and food.
HomePage News reached out to QVC Group inquiring about the changes in culinary and home merchandising management. A QVC Group spokesperson responded with reference to the company’s recent general statement about the changes to staffing levels it is making as part of its strategy to shift operations to livestreaming.
QVC Group this week announced it would eliminate a number of roles, reducing some 900 jobs. The reorganization will affect the HSN, QVC U.S., and Global Shared Services operations.
The company announced in February this year it would consolidate QVC U.S.and HSN operations into QVC’s longstanding West Chester, PA, hub as it closes the longtime HSN operations in St. Petersburg, FL. The company emphasized then it remains committed to HSN-branded digital merchandising platforms, adding HSN and QVC U.S. will continue to maintain distinct brand voices and focus on growing their distinct customer bases.
The company at the time announced changes to its corporate executive suite. Mike Fitzharris, formerly president of QVC U.S., was named president of the QVC U.S. brand and COO of company’s retail group. Stacy Bowe, formerly president of HSN, was named president of the HSN brand and U.S. merchandising.
In March, QVC Group, the operating unit of QVC Group, Inc., named digital media veteran Alex Wellen president and chief growth officer. The former president and CEO of MotorTrend Group reports to David Rawlinson, president and CEO, QVC Group, Inc.
The former Qurate Retail Group was renamed QVC Group, Inc., in March, noting the change signals the evolution of the company’s growth strategy to focus on expanding into a live social shopping enterprise. QVC Group said it plans to deliver products and content in an entertaining approach via social platforms, streaming apps, e-commerce sites and television channels, the company reported. QVC Group this week announced a strategic agreement to host 24/7 live TikTok shopping streams featuring its banners as the group extends operations beyond its traditional core television platforms.
