The Qurate Retail Group, continuing to expand it selling scope, has struck a new streaming deal with Vizio featuring an array of kitchen- and home-focused programming.
In the deal, QVC and HSN have launched a free, dual-interactive streaming shopping service through Vizio Smart televisions, the company announced. The QVC+ and HSN+ combined streaming service offers millions of Vizio users live on-demand and streaming-only content together in one, easy-to-use, fully shoppable app. It is the only livestream shopping app on Vizio that allows customers to complete purchases within the application, while combining multiple channels of live content with video on demand.
The streaming service combines five linear broadcast channels (QVC, QVC2, QVC3, HSN and HSN2) offering more than 50 hours a day of live video commerce content with three digital-only linear channels (In the Kitchen, Fashion Finds and Outdoor Escape) for more than 200 original streaming-only show episodes. These include “In the Spirit with Lindsay and Curtis,” featuring Michelin-starred-chef Curtis Stone and his wife, actress Lindsay Price-Stone; “Design School with Ballard Designs,” featuring interior design experts; and “My Best Friend’s Kitchen with Gaby Dalkin,” featuring chef and influencer Gaby Dalkin.
To help Vizio users access the QVC+ and HSN+ stream easier, the app will enjoy featured placement on the Vizio home page for the three months following the launch.
