Pottery Barn is introducing a new home furnishings collection inspired by the Warner Bros. holiday film, “The Polar Express.”
The Polar Express for Pottery Barn collection includes playful tableware, bedding and home accessories based on iconic artwork from the film, which follows a young boy’s adventure to The North Pole, where he learns about the true spirit of Christmas, the Williams-Sonoma banner stated. As such, the film’s famous golden ticket becomes a stoneware cookie platter, and the iconic train becomes the model for stocking holders. The conductor’s hat becomes an ornament, and a teacup and saucer are patterned after tableware from the film.
“The Polar Express for Pottery Barn collection is a playful reinterpretation of some of the movie magic that has made the story a part of so many families’ holiday traditions over the years,” said Pottery Barn President Monica Bhargava. “We’re pleased to be able to bring this classic film to our customers’ homes as they get in the holiday spirit this season.”
