Smart List AI uses generative AI to enhance listing efficiency by changing how sellers engage with the platform. Poshmark stated that Smart List AI is the first of many new advancements the company is planning to put artificial intelligence at the core of its platform operations.
As introduced, Smart List AI helps sellers use artificial intelligence to generate listing details in any category and department on the Poshmark platform from a single photo upload, guiding sellers step-by-step through the process of getting their products up on the site. Smart List AI automates the creation of key listing elements such as title, description and category, which significantly simplifies listing. Smart List AI has reduced listing time by 48% on average, Poshmark asserted, helping sellers list more and expand inventory options. Not only that, but Smart List AI boosts searchability, Poshmark added, increasing buyer confidence and helping sellers accelerate the growth of their businesses.
In its larger strategy, Poshmark maintained that the company is integrating AI into seller endeavors as part of reshaping its platform. The company is harnessing advanced technologies and machine learning to overhaul every step of the resale process, it asserted.
