CVS Health has announced that Violetta Ostafin will join the company as executive vp and chief strategy officer as it looks to spur growth.
Ostafin will lead strategy development across CVS core businesses as well as identify new market opportunities and product innovations that the company could employ to accelerate growth and further its strategy.
As she takes up her new role, Ostafin will become a member of the CVS executive leadership team and report to CVS president and CEO Karen Lynch, the company reported.
Before joining CVS, Ostafin was global COO, Health Solutions at Aon, plc, a business service firm, and CEO of Aon’s Latin America Health Solutions business.
“Violetta’s deep health care experience has been focused on bold innovation and finding new sources of growth, two priorities for CVS Health,” Lynch said in announcing the hire. “Her accomplishments are driven by a passion for improving how consumers experience health care, which aligns with our goals and values.”
