Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Holdings appointed Eric van der Valk president and CEO, adding him to the company’s board of directors.
In addition, Ollie’s named John Swygert, who had been CEO before the van der Valk appointment, executive chairman of the board, the company stated. Van der Valk, who had been Ollie’s president, joined the company in 2021 as executive vice president and COO after time spent as a Christmas Tree Shops executive. The transitions complete Ollie’s previously announced leadership succession plan.
