Nordstrom has announced executive leadership appointments in its merchandising and store organizations, effective immediately.
The company named Jamie Nordstrom chief merchandising officer. He previously served as its chief stores officer. Nordstrom replaces Teri Bariquit who retired earlier this year, the company noted.
In addition, Nordstrom appointed Fanya Chandler president, Nordstrom stores overseeing the strategy and execution of the company’s Nordstrom stores. Chandler was most recently senior vp and regional manager of the company’s Southwest region. Nordstrom also named Gemma Lionello to the newly created role of president, Nordstrom Rack, supervising strategy and execution of the company’s off-price stores. Lionello most recently was senior vp and regional manager of Nordstrom’s Northeast region.
