Martha Stewart Expands Online as Magazine Nears End

Martha Stewart Living magazine will cease publication after the May 2022 issue, but publisher and parent Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia said that the company is putting more emphasis on its freshly constituted e-commerce component, Martha.com, while continuing to provide content on MarthaStewart.com.

In announcing the moves, the company stated that Martha Stewart is asking her followers to visit Martha.com and join a new VIP program called, Martha Now. The new Martha Now program will offer access to housewares experiences, shopping and VIP rewards on Martha.com, which combines content with products created and curated by Stewart.

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia said Martha’s audience continues to grow through new and various channels, including Martha.com as well as TikTok and Instagram, streaming video and an upcoming podcast series with iHeartRadio. The long-standing Martha Stewart brand principles, such as Teach, Make, Buy, still will act as a foundation for exciting formats with more integrated digital experiences, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia asserted.
