In a new consumer outreach initiative, Walmart is launching a digital-first shopping experience that allows consumers to connect with their favorite celebrities and their customized shopping carts.
As part of the digital initiative, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, singer Becky G and the Barbie brand assembled curated shoppable carts for some of their favorite moments. Mahomes cart includes products he can use to relax during the NFL offseason, including items to entertain kids in the backyard and recover from the physical demands of his occupation including a Hyperice Hypervolt Go 2 Full Body Massage Gun.
Becky G’s cart incorporates items for listening to music such as headphones and hosting family whether Tajin seasoning or a Thyme & Table Acacia Wood Mortar and Pestle for meal prep or a Prepara Chip and Dip Tray Serving Platter for serving food and a Mainstays 12-Piece Tritan Stain-Proof Food Storage Container Set for saving leftovers.
Finally, in the virtual realm, Barbie’s cart carries gear to play pickleball and for spending summer evenings with friends such as a Better Homes & Gardens White Galvanized Steel Square Serve Tray Bowl Set or a 2-gallon Better Homes & Gardens Hammered Luster Glass Beverage Dispenser.
