In another mid-year promotion focused on a retailer’s top customers, the Macy’s Summer’s Greatest Hits promotional campaign is set to launch an All-Star Week for loyalty members.
Macy’s All-Star Week runs Tuesday, July 16 through Tuesday, July 23 at Macy’s stores, on macys.com and on the Macy’s app.
As it announced its All-Star Week, Macy’s also reported the appointment of Keith Credendino as chief information officer, effective August 4.
The All-Star Week event will feature thousands of Macy’s summer deals for all shoppers, plus more exclusive offers for Star Rewards members, the company pointed out. Loyalty members will get chances to earn extra rewards points at three times and 10 times the stated rate on select categories and brands, in addition to $20 of Star Money.
Among the home and housewares brands to bel featured by Macy’s during All-Star Week include Ninja, Nespresso and Lenox, according to the retailer..
“We are excited to continue Macy’s Summer’s Greatest Hits as we surprise and delight our loyalty customers with the launch of our first-ever All-Star Week,” said Max Magni, Macy’s chief customer and digital officer. “Star Rewards features some of the best loyalty benefits and experiences in retail, and during this special member only event, we are showcasing thousands of exclusive savings for our best customers. Whether they are entertaining for a backyard barbeque or buying back to school essentials, we have great deals this summer and several ways to earn more rewards.”
Meanwhile, Credendino has been Macy’s senior vice president of technology product development, customer experience. He succeeds Laura Miller, who is retiring. Credendino joined Macy’s in 2022, and the company said his efforts have improved shopping experiences in stores and online at the Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s department store operations.
