A Lowe’s holiday survey revealed more than 90% of consumers plan to spend as much, if not more, than they did last year on holiday gifts, and more than 85% will participate in holiday traditions. As such, the home improvement retailer has developed a range of promotions to reach celebrants.
Lowe’s expects consumers to begin shopping for the holidays earlier than ever this year, so its Lowe’s Gift Zone is launching with double the gifts this year versus last. Lowe’s assembled the product line up to deliver thousands of gift ideas including lots of options for its DIYer and Pro customers. The assortment includes top-branded tools, smart home, décor and appliances, Lowe’s noted, but also more unexpected gift options such as wine chillers, neck massagers and even mini bikes.
The Gift Zone landing page online has Top Gifts, Top Pro Gifts and Unexpected Gifts graphics that click through to a selection of products that includes:
- Lifepro Fitness Dyna Percussive Massagers, priced at $99.99
- Trakk Shiatsu Car and Home Massagers, priced at $59.99
- Hubble Connected Hubble Mist 5-in-1 Humidifiers, priced at $47.70
- Ninja Foodi Power Blender System with XL Smoothie Bowl Makers priced at $239.99
- Stanley 12-ounce Stainless Steel Insulated Travel Mugs for $23
Lowe’s pointed out, the company also is offering competitive holiday-season prices, price matching and the return of its Season of Savings event, beginning October 28. With new deals dropping every week now through December, Lowe’s is offering shoppers values on tools, smart home, appliances, décor and related merchandise, the company reported.
Lowe’s said it set up its stores earlier in the season and is currently offering the largest selection of artificial trees the company has ever stocked. Trees range from four feet to 12 feet tall with full and slim options. Fresh-cut tree lots will return to Lowe’s Garden Centers nationwide in mid-November. The retailer also is introducing a wide variety of inflatables and décor reminiscent of holiday classics and family-favorite characters as well as LED lights and themed garlands.
“This holiday season, we know customers are looking forward to the chance to relax and create memories with their families and loved ones,” said Bill Boltz, Lowe’s executive vice president of merchandising. “That time together is really important, which is why we have taken steps to make sure holiday shopping is more convenient than ever in our stores and on Lowes.com so customers can focus on those holiday moments at home. We expect customers are going to want to go big this year, so we are excited to offer them the products and experiences they need to make the most out of their holiday season.”
