As labor remains a critical issue at retail, The Kroger Co. announced a spring hiring event scheduled for Saturday, April 30, to fill 23,000 open roles across all departments including retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, supply chain, merchandising, logistics, corporate, pharmacy and healthcare.
The latest will be the retailer’s third nationwide hybrid hiring event and will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. eastern time for virtual interviews and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time for nationwide on-site interviews.
Available jobs include, the company noted, store leader, customer service manager, fulfillment center associate, e-commerce specialist, digital marketing manager, software engineer, data architect, delivery driver, warehouse worker, machine operator, category and procurement manager, financial analyst, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, project manager, and administrative supporter.
Kroger lists available roles and provides registration for the hiring event at thekrogerco.com/careers/spring-hiring-event.
“After our successful fall hiring event, we are eager to once again open our doors, virtually and in-person, to welcome new members to our organization,” said Tim Massa, Kroger senior vp and chief people officer, in announcing the event. “Hosting a hybrid event allows us to reach and interact with more candidates in the way that works best for them while also showing them the many fresh, uplifting career opportunities available across our company.”
