Williams-Sonoma has appointed Day Kornbluth president of its West Elm banner.
Kornbluth most recently served as the global brand president of Ralph Lauren Home.
In her new role, Kornbluth will focus on expanding West Elm’s brand reach while strengthening its core values of bringing inspiring and sustainable product design at a great value, Williams-Sonoma stated. Kornbluth will report to Williams-Sonoma president and CEO Laura Alber.
In September 2022, Food52 announced that former West Elm president Alex Bellos had joined the cooking and home brand as co-CEO and a board member.
“The strength of the West Elm brand represents an incredible opportunity,” Kornbluth said as part of her appointment announcement. “I am thrilled to be joining this talented team and to build on the strong foundations of this business to drive growth.”
Alber noted, “Day’s proven track record and previous success growing home furnishing brands make her the ideal candidate to run the West Elm brand.
