The InMarket Insights Q4 2021 Consumer Loyalty Report shows Walmart generated the most consumer loyalty among the top 5 big-box stores.
The market researcher used location tracking data to determine Walmart was number one followed by Meijer, Fred Meyer, Target and Sam’s Club.
Among dollar stores, Dollar General led, followed by Dollar Tree, 99 Cents Only, Family Dollar and Five Below.
Kohl’s topped off the department store list followed by Macy’s, Nordstrom, JCPenney and Dillards.
Among drug stores, CVS came in ahead of Walgreens, HealthMart, Medicine Shoppe and Rite Aid.
H-E-B came in first among supermarket operators followed by Market Basket, Kroger, King Soopers and Fry’s.
In an InMarket Insights indexing system, based on its tracking methodology, Walmart had the highest score at 5.68 among those retail categories. H-E-B was next at 4.63, with Market Basket at 3.9, Kroger at 3.8 and King Soopers at 3.77 filling out the top five.
