In a promotion that focuses on how the retailer can dress up a good time, HomeGoods is taking some customers out to a dinner designed to make their homes more interesting habitations.
Dubbed A Taste of HomeGoods, the physical initiative is taking place in Austin, TX, on Wednesday, May 31. It gives consumers access to four distinctly styled spaces where they will enjoy the fruits of an eight-course menu developed by James Beard award-winning Chef Mashama Bailey.
Consumers can make first come first served dinner reservations at www.homegoods.com/atasteofhomegoods for the one-night-only event which the TJX Cos. operation is offering for $24.99 per person, underscoring the point of HomeGoods affordability. They can register for an evening or night session. The promotion isn’t limited to Austin, however. At the same web address, consumers can explore the dinner event’s foyer space and shop for products consistent with its design.
Home Goods describes the rooms open where the event takes place as:
- Foyer of Curiosity. A sophisticated yet playful space that hosts a champagne toast and offers what the retailer characterizes as a whimsical journey inspired by a multi-stem ceramic vase.
- Harmony Lounge. The trendy lounge merges a multitude of colors, textures and styles while featuring a variety of light bites served on skewers inspired by a gold metal floor lamp.
- Library of Discovery. The dinner space, inspired by a framed silhouette print, generates a meditation-meets-luxury vibe around the main course paired with wines.
- Wanderlust Desert. An outdoor rustic ranch that features Austin-area influences and the inspiration of a woven outdoor loveseat hosts a special dessert pairing.
“A Taste of HomeGoods is an immersive dining experience that celebrates the spark of inspiration you get at HomeGoods when discovering the perfect find at an incredible value,” said Jessica Stevens, HomeGoods public relations manager, in announcing the promotion. “We’re excited to partner with Chef Mashama Bailey to bring this idea to life and share a new way for consumers to enjoy the thrill of finding through this inspiring setting.”
