The Home Depot has detailed new store plans for locations across the United States, with stores in St. Augustine, FL, and Surprise, AZ, opening this month.
Home Depot intends to cut the ribbon on seven additional stores in Florida, Texas, Idaho, New York, Washington and Virginia, the company noted.
In St. Augustine, the new 136,000-square-foot Home Depot store will open on International Gold Parkway. The Surprise store, also at 136,000 square feet, is located on Cactus Drive.
Home Depot reported key new features in the debut stores include redesigned customer service and flexible checkout areas. They also include specialty showrooms, new merchandising displays, larger garden centers, tool rental centers featuring pro-grade equipment and storage areas for buy-online-pick-up-in-store orders as the home improvement retailer bolsters convenience services.
