Kohl’s Corp. chief technology and supply chain officer Paul Gaffney is departing the company effective August 1, the company reported in a filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, which added that Siobhán McFeeney had been promoted to chief technology officer.

The move comes after Kohl’s waged a proxy battle with an activist investor, Macellum Advisors, considered a company purchase and determined to forgo acquisition and continue on with its strategic plan.
