Wayfair has promoted Ryan Fitzpatrick to vp, furniture and decor, the company announced.
He will lead the company’s North American furniture & decor and category management teams, Wayfair noted, leveraging years of experience and deep understanding of the industry, market and suppliers to help shape the company’s strategic direction.

Fitzpatrick joined Wayfair in 2006 and has held multiple roles including establishing Wayfair’s presence in the United Kingdom and building the company’s extensive category management organization, Wayfair pointed out.
“Ryan wields a unique and experienced understanding of our market and suppliers, embodying Wayfair’s relentless customer focus,” said Steve Oblak, the company’s chief commercial officer, in announcing the promotion. “His people-first mentality, deep understanding of the industry, thorough institutional knowledge and strong understanding of our suppliers have all played a part in defining Ryan as the leader he is today.”
