Dollar General has announced five executive appointments across its supply chain, merchandising, real estate and finance departments.
Dollar General promoted Heather Land to vice president, division merchandise manager of pOpshelf, leading a merchandising strategy that delivers a unique product assortment of home and seasonal décor, beauty essentials and everyday value items, Dollar General noted. Land was senior director of merchandising in DG’s food category.
As it shakes up the executive roster, the company has promoted Kyle Gorman to vice president of distribution to lead operations at facilities in Orlando, Alachua, FL, Bessemer, Al, Montgomery, AL, and Longview, Texas. Gorman most recently served as senior director, continuous improvement.
Dollar General promoted Trent Napier to vice president, construction, leading Dollar General’s building and store opening efforts, and overseeing all aspects of construction delivery, refrigeration engineering and project management activities to deliver new and remodeled stores. He previously was senior director of field construction.
The company reported Matt Lucas has moved to vice president, supply chain optimization to drive network design, technology advancement and product flow improvements using data and financial analysis to guide strategic priorities and investment decisions in the DG supply chain network. He was vice president of distribution center operations.
In addition, Neal Norris has joined Dollar General as vice president, financial planning and analysis, leading the company’s global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis teams. In his new role, Norris, a financial planning veteran, will drive financial strategy, support data-driven decision-making and ensure alignment with the company’s long-term goals.
