Dollar General on July 10 will commence a virtual Days of Beauty event with seminars continuing through July 14 that lead up to the company’s feature event on Saturday, July 15 at 10 a.m. Central Time.
For the eighth year in a row, DG’s Days of Beauty will celebrate multicultural beauty and wellness with tutorials and beauty talks on topics such as textured hair, makeup, nails and general wellness while also featuring quality and affordable products at Dollar General stores and on its website, the company noted.
The 2023 Days of Beauty will be led by celebrity guest Lauren Speed-Hamilton, an actress and model best known for Netflix’s ‘Love is Blind.’ Speed-Hamilton will appear in a live virtual interview on July 15 with a behind-the-scenes look into her beauty regimen. And she will take live questions from viewers.
Each daily seminar will highlight a new theme with tutorials and videos posted at dollargeneral.com/daysofbeauty. Gift card and beauty box giveaways will run throughout the week across DG Beauty’s social media accounts. On July 15, Dollar General will offer 11 virtual influencer tutorials that will cover fitness routines, breakfast routines, hair, makeup, skin and nails.
Registration for the event is opened on dollargeneral.com/daysofbeauty, and the first 5,000 registrants were set to receive a free beauty box filled with products that will feature in the event including those from Dove, Suave, Covergirl, Curl Rhythm, Pantene, Olay, Secret, Gillette, Special K, Smart Water, got2b, Keratin Color, Believe, Root to End, Neutrogena and Lubriderm.
